Join the Cotswold Magical Society

Unleash Your Inner Magician

So you're interested in joining our magic club? That's great! There are a few rules but first and foremost you must have a passion for magic. We're a friendly bunch and welcome hobbyists, part-timers and full-time professionals. So, don't be shy - get in touch today!

How to apply

To become a member of Cotswold Magical Society you:

  • Must be 18+ years of age

  • Must have a genuine interest in the art of magic

  • May be required to demonstrate magical knowledge or ability on application

Simply complete the membership form and email it to our Membership Secretary who will be in touch.

Membership is at the discretion of the Club Committee and all members must agree to the club rules.

Location and membership fees

​To cover the cost of room hire, talks, and competitions, there is a membership fee, which can be paid annually or via monthly standing order. Our membership fees are:

​​

  • Standard membership: £78 per year or £6.50 per month

  • Retired members/Concessions: £68 per year or £6 per month

  • Visiting magicians (by prior arrangement): £10 for star lectures, £5 other nights payable on door.

 

Tea, coffee and biscuits are available and there is also a licensed bar.

Club nights are held alternate Wednesday nights at The Hucclecote Community Centre, Gloucester.

Doors open at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start. See our Programme of Events for dates.​

Visiting magicians

We welcome visiting magicians by prior arrangement.
